John Freida Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Shampoo
Can you tell we love John Frieda products? They really do make the best highlighting products, in our opinion. The Highlight Activating Shampoo is made for those of us who already have blonde hair, but want to brighten it up. It restores shine and glow to your blonde hair by removing residues left by styling products and tap water - major causes of drab and dull locks. This shampoo also contains natural extracts to help darker blonde tones appear exceptionally clear and bright. Choose the formula that best suits your hair colour - there's one for honey To caramel Tones, another for platinum To champagne tones.

Lighten Up continues to lighten your hair every time you use it (it's applied just like styling mousse), so results should appear within 1-2 weeks. It's a nice way to control how light your hair gets, by gradually changing its colour. People will know you look better, but they won't know exactly why! You can re-use it whenever you want to refresh your new highlights. Aloe and other conditioning agents in the foam leave your hair shiny and soft.
DO-IT-YOURSELF HIGHLIGHTING
Save money by trying this do-it-yourself formula for highlighting your hair:
Boil 3 cups of spring water (like Evian), then remove from heat. Add 3 chamomile tea bags and 3 teaspoons of lemon juice. Stir, cover and allow to steep for 30 minutes. Remove tea bags and store in the refrigerator.
To use, shampoo hair and rinse as usual. Squeeze out excess water and towel-dry hair a bit. Generously pour on herbal rinse until hair is saturated. Squeeze out excess and then style as usual. When you spend time in the sun, the ingredients in your hair rinse will help to bring out your hair's natural highlights. You can make and use the mixture as many times as you want until you achieve your desired level of highlighting.
