TEASED BY BOYS

First i wanna tell u dat you're doin' a great jop and helpin a lot of people. thanx. well, my problem is i get teased a lot by the boys in my class.they talk behind my back that i'm so ugly that they can barely look at me ant to me they say a lot of nasty stuff and laugh at me.personaly i don't think i am ugly, cause i get complimenta from other people. but i feel kinda bad when i hear "ew look at her she is so ugly eww" and then they start making faces like i was hideous. they like to tease each other "oh i bet u r in love with her" and stuff like that... i know that i am absolutely normal, but i don't understand why are they talkin' like dat?i never say anythin' to them, i always try to ignore them but it really brings my self-esteem down.what should i do? why are they talking like that? Hope u will help me.

Do not take anything these guys say seriously. Sometimes guys act totally stupid to "impress" each other (even though we girls don't find it at all funny), and right now, they've picked you as a target. It's probably totally random, they could have picked anyone. Guys can be such gorillas, and it sounds like these ones are really immature. So it has nothing to do with you, it's about them, and them being stupid.

My advice to you is, try to keep on ignoring these apes. If they don't get a reaction out of you, they will probably get tired of saying stuff about you, and move on to some other target. Keep on reminding yourself how great you are, savour those compliments you get from other people, and do not let your sense of self-worth be affected by these idiots.

If you find yourself getting really down about it however, and it's not stopping, then I suggest you talk to a teacher about what's going on. Sometimes you have to know when to ask for help, to get rid of an annoying problem.
