TEASED FOR BEING PALE

Dear Jellybean,

I need your help! There is this group of guys that make fun of my skin color. I am really pale. I want to keep it b/c I like the way I was made. They call me pastey and Casper and all these other names which really hit my weak spot and make me feel like I am not worthy of being a person. They all wouldn't understand b/c they all are pretty tan. I would really like it stopped beacuse I feel like crap every time they say something. Please help!

Dear Writer,

Next time they make a comment about your pale skin, say "Yeah, well I can always get a tan, but you’re stuck being stupid forever." That should shut them up. If it doesn’t and they keep bugging you, report them to a teacher or tell your parents to do something. You deserve to live free from the harassment of stupid idiots.
